If you have a large number of products to add to ClientPoint, importing them all at once via a CSV file is an efficient way to populate your Product Library. Follow this guide to streamline the process, and optionally bulk upload product photos to match.
Steps to Import Your Product List:

Navigate to the Product Library:
- Go to Settings in your ClientPoint account.
Click on Content Library
Next to Files, click Products

Access the Product Import Tool:
- On the top-left, click Add to Product Library.

- On the top-left, click Add to Product Library.
- Choose the Import Products option.

Download and Complete the CSV Template:
- Download the CSV Product Template provided.
- Open the file in Excel or a similar spreadsheet application.
Fill Out the Template:
- Enter your product information. Be as detailed as needed.
- Ensure all required fields are completed for accurate import.
Example fields in the template may include:

- Product Name: Clear, identifiable names for your products.
- Product Number: Unique identifiers to match product photos later.
- Description: Details about the product for user reference.
- Price, Dimensions, or Category: Optional fields for advanced sorting or usage.
Upload the Updated CSV File:
- After completing the template, click Choose File and upload the CSV document to your Product Library.
Bulk Upload Product Photos:
You can also upload product images in bulk to match the imported products.

Prepare Your Photos:
- Ensure each product photo is named to match its Product Number in the CSV file.

Import Photos:
- Follow the same steps as above but select Import Photos instead of Import Products.
- ClientPoint will automatically pair the photos with their respective products based on matching names.
