The Asset Library in ClientPoint is a repository for media files that can be hosted online and integrated into HTML documents within a ClientPoint. By storing media files in the Asset Library, you can generate shareable URLs for embedding content into Advanced or Static HTML files, ensuring seamless presentation.
Supported File Types
The Asset Library supports the following file formats:
- Images: JPG/JPEG, PNG, SVG, GIF
- Stylesheets: CSS
- Scripts: JS
Adding an Asset to the Library
Step 1: Set Up Asset Categories
Before uploading assets, you must create categories to organize them:
- Navigate to Settings.
2. Click on Content Library
3. Go to the Assets tab
4. Click Manage Asset Categories
5. Click Add a Category
6. Enter the name of one or more categories in the pop up window, and select the Workspace from which you would like these Assets to be available. One complete, click Submit
7. To add your Assets, click Manage Assets
8. Click Add an Asset
9. Select the Workspace, Division, and Category where you wish to add your Asset(s)
10. Click Select Files, and select the file(s) that you wish to upload. You may update the name of each Asset, as desired. Once complete, click Submit
11. You will receive a confirmation pop-up when the upload is complete. If you wish to copy the shareable link to your Asset, you can simply select the Asset from your Asset library, then click Copy Asset Link.
You may incorporate the Asset link into your Static HTML code, or use the link to replace pieces of dynamic content within your Advanced or Static HTML files. The URL between the quotation marks is the link to your uploaded file.
