Creating a robust product library is an essential step in organizing and showcasing your offerings within ClientPoint. Products can be added either individually or in bulk. This guide will help you add products individually to your library.
Before You Start
- Ensure you have set up your Product Categories. Categories should be created before adding or importing products to streamline organization and searchability.
Product Anatomy
Each product in your library consists of the following components:
- Product Number: A unique identifier for each product (e.g., A001).
- Product Name: The name of the product.
- Product Category: Categories for grouping related products.
- Price: Product price.
- Description: A short description of the product.
- Image: An optional visual representation of the product.
- Custom Fields: Additional fields that provide more details, such as Product Type, Model, Series, or Brand.
Steps to Add a Product

Access Product Settings:
- Navigate to Settings in your ClientPoint account.

- Next to Files, click Products.

- In the top-left corner, click Add to Product Library.
- From the drop-down menu, select Create.
