Populate your product library by adding products individually or importing your products all at once. In this article, we'll show you how to add products individually.
It is important that before you start adding products that you have set up your product categories. The categories should be created before adding or importing products.
Product Anatomy
- Product Number
- Product Name
- Product Category
- Price
- Description
- Image
- Custom Fields
Note: Each product requires a unique product number.
Here are instructions to help you build out your product library.
Add a Product
- Go to Settings
- Click on Content Library
- Next to Files, click Products
- On the top-left, click Add to Product Library
- Choose Create in the drop-down
- Complete the product form
Notes for filling out the form:
- Number: Each product should have a unique Number or Code. If you don't have codes assigned to your products, you can name them yourself e.g. A001 onward.
- Images: Please name your images based on your Product Code.
- Custom: You can choose to add custom fields that best describe your product to your customers. E.g of custom fields can be Product Type, Model, Series, Brand, etc.
