How to Use Direct Links in ClientPoint

Direct links in ClientPoint serve as an efficient way to share specific content with clients or team members, streamlining communication and ensuring that the right information is readily accessible. This feature enhances user experience by allowing recipients to bypass general navigation and go directly to the intended content.

How to Use Direct Links

1. Accessing the Files Area:

   • Navigate to the Files area within your ClientPoint dashboard. Here, you'll find all relevant documents and content.

2. Copying the Main ClientPoint Link:

   • At the top left of the screen, you’ll see a green circle with a link icon. Clicking this will allow you to copy the main link to your ClientPoint.
   • Usage: This link provides access to all content within that specific ClientPoint, making it suitable for sharing comprehensive information.

1. Sharing Specific Content:

   • To direct someone to a particular item, highlight the content you wish to share (e.g., a specific document or video).
   • Hover your mouse to the right of the highlighted content until options appear, then select Copy Direct Link.
   • Usage: This direct link takes the recipient immediately to the specific content, bypassing the Table of Contents. This feature is particularly useful for:
     • Reminding clients to sign contracts.
     • Highlighting a specific video that you want them to watch.
     • Directing attention to important updates or messages.

Important Notes

• Login Requirement: Recipients of the direct link will still need to log in with their email to access any content. This ensures that access is secure and limited to authorized users.
