Live Templates automatically update the content of any ClientPoint where the Live Template is added, any time the Live Template is updated!
Why is this important? Using a Live Template allows you to manage and control the content is one easy step across your entire organization.
Here's a few examples:
Let's say you have specific company information like your website, company history, and cool video that you want to display in every team member's virtual office. You can create a Template for this. But if that is a Live Template, when your Sales Executive or CEO records a new video, or you have unique marketing content you only need to update the Live Template. The change happens across your organization.
Maybe you have rates and pricing in the Live Template in all your prospect's ClientPoints and a new rate structure was just launched. Easy. Just change the rate file in the Live Template, and ALL your prospect's ClientPoints containing that template will be updated.
IMPORTANT: Live Templates will not work with One Pass Template generation. Enabling Live Templates will automatically turn off One Pass generation.
How Do I Create a Live Template?
- Click on New ClientPoint or + New
- In the Info Tab, select Template for the Status
- Once selected, check the Template Options on the upper right, to ensure that Live Template is turned on, then click Save & Continue
IMPORTANT: One Pass must be disabled, in order for the Live Template functionality to be enabled for your Template. - In the Files tab, add your desired content to the Template
- That's it! You now have a Live Template that you and your team can import into any ClientPoint, just like any other ClientPoint template!

How Do I Manage And Update My Live Templates?
- In the Manage screen, Navigate to Your Templates, and open the Live Template you wish to update.
- Click on the Files tab to update your content, as desired. The ClientPoints that use this template will automatically reflect any changes made within the template (i.e. New Files, Updated Files, Removed Files, etc.).
