A Fragment is a fully formatted Word (.docx) file that can be injected into another .docx file. Fragments can be added and maintained by Administrators in the Fragments Library (Settings > Content Library > Fragments)
Each Fragment is associated with a Fragment Category. Fragment Categories may be added, deleted, or edited by clicking Manage Fragment Categories.
Once you have defined at least one Category for your Fragments click the Manage Fragments button to return to the list of Fragments. Click Add a Fragment to upload a new Fragment to your library.
- Unique Identifier - the Unique Identifier will be used within a Placeholder inside the document where you wish to inject the Fragment. For example, if your Unique Identifier is Exhibit_A, then the Placeholder in your .docx file will be ^Fragments:Exhibit_A^. IMPORTANT: the Unique Identifier should not contain any spaces.
- Select the Workspace and Division(s) where you wish to be able to use your Fragment.
- Select the Category for your Fragment.
- Notes may be added to provide additional context for your teammates.
Click Submit to add the Fragment to your Library.
Once added, you may create and/or apply Tags to your Fragment(s) for increased searchability for your Users.
