What is a Table of contents TOC?
A table of contents, usually headed simply Contents and abbreviated informally as TOC, is a list, usually found on a page before the start of a written work, of its chapter or section titles or brief descriptions with their commencing page numbers.
The table of contents serves two purposes: It gives users an overview of the document's contents and organization. It allows readers to go directly to a specific section of an on-line document.
How to setup TOC background in ClientPoint?
ClientPoint helps you generate a TOC by click of a button. However, in order to set a branded background to your TOC, you need to set the background in the theme section of ClientPoint. You can easily upload the header and footer of your proposal in PDF format into the theme section of ClientPoint to generate branded TOC as per your proposal. See screenshot below:
How to add TOC in your ClientPoint?
In order to add a TOC to your proposal in ClientPoint simply use the add Table of contents option in Add to ClientPoint dropdown in the file section. See screenshot below:
Once you have added the table of contents it will add the file on top with page numbers to each file in your ClientPoint:
This TOC will contain the name of the file with the respective page numbers pulled onto the branded background:
Please make sure to add the TOC once you are done adding your files, links and videos so that your TOC contains the items with the correct pagination. In case you add more files later or or re order any items, delete the TOC out and re add it through the Add to ClientPoint dropdown to avoid discrepancy in TOC.
