The latest update to the File Screen UI/UX is designed to provide a smoother, more efficient experience when managing and interacting with files within your ClientPoint system. With these updates, you’ll find all the essential features in a refreshed layout, making it easier to navigate and access key file details.

The update brings a more intuitive and organized file management system, with key changes that will enhance your workflow. Here's a breakdown of the most notable updates:
-
Updated Menu Layout:
The order of menu items has been changed for better accessibility and ease of use. The Enable Esign, Rename Item, Preview File, Local Edit, Edit and Delete options are now positioned on the left side of the file screen, making these commonly used functions quicker to access. On the right, you’ll find the Delete and Edit options, along with an expanded (three dots) menu for more advanced settings or features. This reorganization ensures that your most frequent actions are always just a click away while keeping additional options neatly tucked away for when you need them.
-
New File Detail Panel:
One of the standout features of this update is the File Detail Panel, which appears when you select any file from your library or any file added to your ClientPoint. This panel is designed to provide all the essential file information in one place, offering a comprehensive overview of your files with ease.

This shows the name of the user who originally created the file, providing visibility into the file’s origin. -
Create Date:
You can see when the file was originally created, which helps with tracking and sorting files based on their creation date. -
Modified By:
If the file has been updated, the name of the person who modified the file is listed here, giving you insight into who last made changes. -
Modified Date:
The date when the file was last modified is displayed, ensuring you know if you’re working with the latest version. -
File Size:
The size of the file is shown, allowing you to assess how much space it occupies within your system. -

The file type is identified, helping you understand the format of the document (e.g., .docx, .pdf), and ensuring compatibility with your system.
Why These Changes Matter
These UI/UX updates are focused on increasing usability and providing more comprehensive insights into your files at a glance. The streamlined layout ensures you can quickly perform file actions like renaming, merging, or editing, without wasting time navigating through cluttered menus.
The new File Detail Panel offers immediate access to key information such as file creation and modification details, helping you stay organized and informed about the files you’re working with. Whether you’re managing a single document or handling a large library of files, these changes simplify the process and improve efficiency.
In sum, these updates are not just about aesthetics - they are designed to create a more intuitive and user-friendly environment for managing files. With the new changes, your team will experience smoother workflows, better file organization, and faster access to essential file details.
