ClientPoint to follow Microsoft and Salesforce in ending support for Internet Explorer 11
Microsoft announced on August 17, 2020 that they will be ending support to Internet Explorer 11 starting with Microsoft Teams on November 30, 2020 and eventually all Microsoft 365 app by August 17, 2021. Aligning with Microsoft and our partners such as Salesforce and NetSuite who ended their support to Internet Explorer 11 last year, ClientPoint will end support for Internet Explorer 11 on May 31, 2021.
What does this mean?
On May 31, 2021, the ClientPoint application will no longer support Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 or it's rendering engine embedded into other browsers. Users will still be able to log into ClientPoint using Internet Explorer 11, however, support will not be offered for defects specific to this browser or it's rendering engine. ClientPoint will no longer test or address any issues related to Internet Explorer 11.
We recommend that if you are using Internet Explorer 11, you should switch to another support browser. It is best practice to keep your web browser updated to the latest version to ensure the websites render properly.
