ClientPoint continues to enhance your workflow by allowing you to directly add files to your personal Library during the creation of a ClientPoint. This functionality is ideal for users without access to the broader Content Library, streamlining how documents are stored, accessed, and prepared for electronic signatures - all within a single interface.
Adding Files to Your Personal Library
To upload files to your “My Library” folder during ClientPoint creation:

Navigate to the Files Tab:

While creating or editing a ClientPoint, go to the “Files” section.

Open the Options Menu:

Click on the hamburger icon (three dots) next to the file.
- Click "Upload Document" then select your desired file.

Select ‘Add to My Library’:

This will save the file to your personal “My Library” folder for future use.

Once added, these files become instantly accessible and can be reused in future ClientPoints, keeping your workflow efficient and organized.
Enabling ClientPoint Sign for a Document
ClientPoint Sign allows you to prepare documents for secure digital signatures directly within your ClientPoint. Here’s how to enable and configure eSign:

Select a Document:

In the Files section, select the document you want to prepare for signature.

Click ‘Enable eSign’:

This opens the Easy Signature document builder.

Set the Number of Signers:

Enter how many individuals need to sign and click Continue.

Drag & Drop Signature Elements:

From the left panel, you can add:

Signer Name
-
Signature Field (mandatory)

Initials
-
Date
-
Text Boxes
-
Checkboxes

You may click the Settings icon on any field to customize its behavior.

Preview and Send:

Once all fields are placed, your document is ready for recipients to sign.

After the Signing Process

All signers can review and complete the signature process via the shared ClientPoint link.

Upon completion, a Certificate of Signature is generated and attached to the final PDF.

This certificate includes timestamped records of each signer’s activity for added security and compliance.

Admin users may apply a Counter Signature for official internal sign-off.
Troubleshooting: Missing ‘Enable eSign’ Button
If you do not see the “Enable eSign” button:

Reason: Easy Sign may not yet be enabled on your account.

Solution: Contact your Client Success Consultant or email support@clientpoint.net to request activation.
