Overview
The Hamburger Menu in ClientPoint’s Library provides quick access to a wide range of file management options, allowing users to customize file settings, upload various types of content, and organize resources. Located to the right of each file, next to the Delete button, the Hamburger Menu makes it easy to fine-tune how documents and files are displayed and accessed within the Library.
Accessing the Hamburger Menu
- Navigate to the Library Tab in any ClientPoint.
- Locate the Hamburger Menu icon (three stacked lines) to the right of each file, next to the Delete button.
- Click the Hamburger Menu to view options for managing and modifying files.
Hamburger Menu Options Explained
Each item in the Hamburger Menu serves a specific function:
- Split: Divides a document into sections, useful for separating content for specific presentations.
- Conditions: Adds visibility conditions to files, ensuring they are displayed only to users meeting set criteria.
- Hide in TOC: Hides the file from the Table of Contents (TOC), keeping it accessible but invisible in the main TOC view.
- Downloadable: Allows the file to be downloadable by guest who have access.
- Internal: Marks a file as internal, restricting its access to designated internal users.
- Header TOC: Adds a header in the Table of Contents to visually organize files under custom headers.
- Merge Tool: Combines multiple files into one document, streamlining content presentation.
- Save as Template: Saves the current file settings as a template for future use.
- Merge PPTX: Merges PowerPoint files (.pptx) into one cohesive presentation.
- Merge Docx: Merges Word documents (.docx) into a single file, ideal for consolidating text documents.
- Print Only: Restricts file access to only printing, limiting online viewing.
- Add to Library: Moves a file to the general library for centralized access.
“Add to Library” Options
Located at the bottom of the Hamburger Menu, the Add to Library button provides additional upload and content options, similar to the blue Add to ClientPoint button on the right. These options include:
- Upload Document: Upload general document files for use across projects.
- Upload PDF Drawing: Adds PDF files, particularly useful for drawings or blueprints.
- Upload Video: Uploads video files directly to the library.
- Add YouTube Video: Embeds YouTube videos via URL for easy integration.
- Video from Webcam: Allows users to record and upload video directly from their webcam.
- Screen Recording: Creates a screen recording that is saved directly to the library.
- New Google Document: Creates a new Google Doc accessible through the library.
- Add a Folder: Organizes files by grouping them into a designated folder.
- Add Webpage: Links a webpage as a file for easy reference.
- Add Attachment: Uploads additional attachments for reference or download.
