How to install solution in CRM
- Access the settings menu in your Microsoft Dynamics CRM account
- Within the customization section, locate and click on the Solutions option
- Download the solution by clicking here
- On the Solutions page, click the Import button
- A file selection window will appear, choose the downloaded solution from your computer
- Once the file is selected, a popup window will appear with installation instructions
- Follow the instructions provided in the popup window to proceed with the installation of the ClientPoint solution
The solution will be installed in CRM and the ClientPoint section will be added to the default opportunity and account forms. If you have custom opportunity forms, follow the instructions below to display the ClientPoint section on those forms:

- Navigate to the Settings menu and choose Customizations
- Click on the Customize the System link
- In the popup, expand the list of entities
- Locate and expand the Opportunities entity
- Under Opportunities, click on "Forms"
- Open the custom form you created for opportunities from the right side
- Add a new tab with a single column in the form where you want to display the ClientPoint section
- Select the newly added tab and proceed to add a new web resource
- In the popup window, search for new_OpportunityProposals and provide a suitable name and label for the web resource
- Rename the tab to ClientPoint and save your changes
- Finally, publish all the modifications and review the custom form in opportunities to ensure that the new section is visible
Instructions for Configuration in ClientPoint
- Start by logging into your ClientPoint account
- Once logged in, navigate to the Settings section
- Within the Settings menu, select Integrations" and choose Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- On the Configuration screen, you will see the option to select the CRM Type. Choose Online from the available options
- Enter the URL of your organization's Dynamics CRM instance. For example, if your organization's CRM URL is organization.crm.dynamics.com, enter it in the designated field
- After entering the Organization URL, click the Submit button to save your configuration
Import a Proposal from CRM to your ClientPoint account
- Click on the New button to initiate the creation of a new ClientPoint record
- Locate the "CRM Import" button, which is located near the Client Name field
- Click on the "CRM Import" button to access the list of available CRM platforms
- From the list, select the desired CRM platform that you want to import data from
