To be able to use this feature Admin user of the ClientPoint system will need to create a Stripe Account with ClientPoint.
Please follow the steps below to integrate your Stripe Account to your ClientPoint system:
Step 1: Click Settings on the right top side of your home screen:
Step 2: Click on the integration tab:
- Now Click on Button to get started with the Stripe Account Creation Setup
- Complete Stripe account creation Process be following the steps below
- You will need to create a new account to integrate with ClientPoint (A single E-mail can be used to create multiple stripe accounts)
Note: In case you are not able to see the Connect option please contact support at support@clientpoint.net
Steps to Create a Stripe Account:
Once you click on connect in the Integration section it will open the following page for you to add your email:
- Please enter the mobile number with the country code.
- Make sure you enter the correct mobile number, a stripe verification code will be sent to this number.
- Without verification you will not be able to login to stripe account
- On the click button you will land on the following screen
Notes:
- If you are using an Email which is already registered with a Stripe Account please enter the same Stripe password that you use to proceed
- If you are using an Email which is not registered with a Stripe Account please create a new password
On clicking the “Login” button you will proceed to the next step depending on if your email is already registered with a Stripe Account or not
Case 1: If you are using an email that is registered with the Stripe Account:
- Here you will have the option to either use an existing business or add a new business details for this account
Case 2: If you are using an email that is not registered with a Stripe Account:
- Please enter the mobile number with the country code.
- Make sure you enter the correct mobile number, Stripe verification code will be sent to this number.
On clicking Stripe will send a verification code to your mobile number, which will need to be entered in the next screen.
- Please enter the verification code received on your mobile number.
- You can also use a alternate mobile number by clicking on “Use Different Mobile Number”
On successful verification of the code system will navigate you to the following screen
- Stripe provides an emergency code in case you lost your mobile number (Instead of a verification code that is sent to your mobile number you can use this code to recover your stripe account)
- You can Download this code for emergency use.
Click to go to the following screen:
- Enter your business Information (Location, Type of Business and Business structure).
Click to go to the next screen below:
- Enter your Personal Information.
Click to go to the following screen:
- Enter your business Information (Industry, website and product Description)
Click to move to the next screen:
- Enter your business Information.
- The Statement Descriptor will be used in the Email that will be sent to your customer by ClientPoint, once a successful payment is made.
- The Shortened Descriptor is the Tab Name for the payment page.
Click to go to the following screen:
- This screen will give you a preview of the information that you have provided.
- If there is something missing, that area will be highlighted in Red
- You can Click “”, to edit your submitted information
- If there is something missing in account created, Stripe will highlight that and you will not be able to complete the integration process unless you provide the mandatory information
- Once you have added the missing information click Update
If the required information is verified by Stripe you will see the following screen:
Click to submit your request. Once submitted you will navigate back to your ClientPoint system.
Different Statuses of Stripe Integration with ClientPoint
Pending:
- If system shows “Pending” status in the integration section for Stripe. It means that your integration is successfully completed but the account creation process by Stripe is pending and will complete soon. Once it is complete on their end the “Pending” Status will change to “Completed”
Incomplete:
If system shows the status as “Incomplete” then it needs you to provide all the missing information and complete the process.
On clicking the “Manage” button system take you to the following screen:
- From here you can submit your incomplete information (As defined above)
Integration Successful:
- If the integration is successfully completed then the Stripe integration Tab will look like as below:
Disconnecting Stripe Integration:
On clicking the “Disconnect” button system will ask a reconfirmation about disconnecting Stripe integration in a popup as shown below:
- On clicking “Cancel” popup will close and the account will remain connected (Integrated)
- On clicking “Disconnect” integration will be disconnected but your Stripe account will remain active
- After disconnecting, Payment Integration should look as below:
Reconnecting integration:
On clicking the “Connect” button system will display the following pop up:
- On clicking the “Cancel” button, the pop up will close
- On clicking the “Connect” button, a popup will show which contains the integrated account-ID and Email (an account that was disconnected), as shown above.
