Uploading an encrypted file can cause issues in ClientPoint as it blocks access and cannot be viewable for recipients. In order to make a file viewable for recipients, encryption needs to be removed from the respective files and then to be uploaded into the system.
Following are the steps to remove the encryption from files.
Step 1. Open Adobe Acrobat on your computer.
Step 2. Open the protected PDF file and type the password when prompted.
Step 3. Click "Protect" at the bottom right on the sidebar.
Step 4. Click "Advanced Options" to open a drop-down menu and select "Remove Security"
Step 5. Once done, it will ask for confirmation to remove encryption from the file. By clicking Ok, the encryption from the file will be removed.
Following are the steps to remove encryption from the PPT files.
Step 1. Select the File and click on Info and then select "Protect Presentation"
Step 2. Select "Encrypt with Password"
Step 3. Clear the password in the Password box, and then click OK.
