ClientPoint's Product tool allows users to import product information and pricing to deliver customized quotes quickly and easily. It helps you build a comprehensive catalog of your products. You can add product details such as SKUs, photos, descriptions, and pricing. This helps you create a centralized database of all your offerings.
Using the Product Quote Tool
- In the main form, you will see 2 tabs: Basic Information and Product Quote. Complete the form fields within the Basic Information area. On the bottom, there is an option to put down the Payment terms if you wish to add any, this area can be made optional as per the requirements.
- In the Product Quote tab, you may add one or more Product Groups, using the Add Group button. You may apply a discount to all products within a given group by clicking the Pencil icon next to the group name and updating the percentage for the Group Discount you wish to apply.
- To add Products, click on Add Product. You will be taken to a menu of your Products. To add a product click on the + icon before the products to add them, you may search and select from any products within your Product Library as well.
- Once you have selected your desired Products, you may edit the Product Descriptions, Quantities, Discounts, Unit Prices (the price per unit, before discounts), and the VAT (tax rate, if applicable).
- When you have completed the configuration of your products and pricing, you may click Submit to generate the custom quote.
6. If you need to make any additional changes, simply highlight the Product Quote tool on the left side of the Files Tab, then click Edit to go back to the tool form.
IMPORTANT: For best practice, we recommend adding your Products, Pricing, and other product-related information to the ClientPoint Product Library. For more information on how to set up your Product Library, click HERE.
