The Signature Configuration section in ClientPoint's Advanced Settings allows administrators to manage a variety of global settings related to document signing and e-signature functionalities. Here’s an overview of key options available in this menu:
To Navigate,
- From the Homepage, go to Settings.
- Click Advance Settings
- Under the Advance Configuration, expand Signature Configuration.
1. Enable ClientPoint Sign
- Purpose: This enables the default e-signature functionality within ClientPoint. It allows users to digitally sign documents within the platform.
2. Fillable Field Count
- Purpose: This configuration option provides the ability to track the number of fillable fields in documents, giving administrators visibility into the fields that require user input.
3. Hide Counter Signature Button
- Purpose: Once a document is signed, ClientPoint automatically displays a counter signature button. Enabling this option hides this button to prevent further counter-signing after the initial signature is applied.
4. Disable E-Signature
- Purpose: When enabled, this option disables the default e-signature feature across the platform, preventing users from signing documents electronically.
5. Enable 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance
- Purpose: This option ensures that the signature process complies with the FDA’s 21 CFR Part 11 regulations for electronic records, making it suitable for industries like pharmaceuticals and healthcare that require compliance with strict document handling rules.
6. Send Email to Recipients When a Document is Fully Executed
- Purpose: After a document is fully signed, an email notification is automatically sent to the recipient to inform them that the signing process is complete.
7. Send Signed Document as Attachment in Email
- Purpose: When a document is signed, this setting ensures that the signed document is attached to the email sent to the recipient in PDF format, making it easy for them to save or download.
8. Enable Upload Signature Document on Files Page
- Purpose: This option allows users to upload documents with RightSignature tags for signature. This is useful for external documents (not part of the ClientPoint content library) that require digital signatures.
9. Enable Sign Automation Tags Only Mode
- Purpose: When activated, this mode ensures that only documents with RightSignature automation tags can be signed, streamlining the document signing process by restricting manual signatures.
10. Configuration to Send Selected Files/Pages to RightSignature
- Purpose: Administrators can specify whether to send all files or only the signature-required files/pages to RightSignature for signing. This setting helps in targeting specific sections of documents, reducing unnecessary steps.
Summary of Key Options:
- Hide Counter Signature Button and Disable E-Signature are primarily used to manage the visibility of signature options.
- Email notifications ensure that both the sender and recipient stay informed about the status of the document.
- RightSignature Integration features, such as uploading documents with signature tags and sending specific files to RightSignature, enhance the signing experience by allowing more flexibility and automation.
