Overview
ClientPoint allows users to efficiently manage all client and lead information in one place, providing a seamless way to store, import, and export contact details. With ClientPoint’s contact management feature, users can easily upload existing contact lists, download a comprehensive list of all contacts, or add new contacts directly within the platform. This functionality not only simplifies data management but also enhances accessibility to client information for streamlined communication and follow-up.
How to Import Contacts
If you have an existing list of contacts, you can quickly upload them to ClientPoint by following these steps:

Navigate to Settings:
- From your dashboard, go to Settings.

Open Contacts:
- Click on Contacts to access your contact management page.

Download Sample CSV:
- Click the Excel button to download a Sample Contact CSV template, which provides the correct format for your contacts.

Populate the CSV File:
- Open the downloaded CSV file and enter your contact details in the appropriate fields. Leave any fields blank if needed, but ensure columns are not deleted.

Import the Completed CSV:
- Once all contacts are entered, save the CSV file to your computer.
- Return to the Contacts page and click Import Contacts.
- Select your saved CSV file and click Submit.
Note: If you’re importing information for a contact that already exists in ClientPoint, the newly imported details will overwrite the previous information.
How to Export Contacts
To download a list of your current contacts from ClientPoint:

Go to Settings:
- Click on Settings from the main dashboard.

Select Contacts:
- Choose Contacts to access your stored list.

Export the Contacts:
- Click the Excel button to download your contact list as a CSV file. This file can be used for external reference or backup.
Adding a New Contact Manually
To add an individual contact directly within ClientPoint:

Add New Contact:
- In the Contacts section, click the + Add Contact button.

Enter Contact Details:
- Fill out the contact’s information in the form provided.

Save the Contact:
- Click Submit to save the new contact in ClientPoint.
