ClientPoint provides a robust set of Recipient Viewer Options that give administrators control over how recipients interact with ClientPoint documents. These options allow you to customize what your recipients can do within the ClientPoint, from adding comments to downloading or printing documents.
Each option can be toggled on or off, and the status is visually represented in blue (enabled) or gray (disabled). Below are the key features you can adjust:
1. Comments
- Enabled: Recipients can add comments within the ClientPoint, facilitating communication and feedback.
- Disabled: Comments are not allowed, restricting recipients to just viewing the content.
2. Prompt for Email
- Enabled: Recipients are prompted to enter their email address before viewing the ClientPoint. This feature allows you to track recipient views, engagement, and other activities.
- Disabled: The recipient is not prompted to enter their email, and all views are tracked anonymously.
3. Recipient Download & Print
- Enabled: Recipients can download the ClientPoint as a PDF or print a hard copy of it.
- Disabled: The recipient can only view the ClientPoint via a shared link, with no option to download or print.
4. eSignature
- Enabled: Allows recipients to sign the ClientPoint electronically, making it easier to complete documents without the need for physical signatures.
- Disabled: The eSignature functionality is turned off.
5. Disable GDPR
- Enabled: Disables the GDPR consent checkbox and message, which is required for recipients from the EU under data protection laws.
- Disabled: Recipients from the EU will be required to consent to data collection as per GDPR.
6. Client Upload
- Enabled: Allows recipients to upload documents or files to share with your sales team directly within the ClientPoint.
- Disabled: Recipients cannot upload files.
7. Password Protection
- Enabled: Adds password protection to the ClientPoint, which is especially useful for securing sensitive documents. ClientPoint can generate a password automatically.
- Disabled: The ClientPoint is accessible without a password.
Notifications for Recipient Activity
When any of these features are used, the assigned sales representative will be notified of all recipient activity within the ClientPoint, keeping them informed of views, comments, downloads, and other interactions.
