Overview:

Step 1: Download the Plugin
- Open your web browser and go to the provided download link: ClientPoint WordPress Plugin
- Click on the download button and save the plugin file (
clientpoint-customeros.zip
) in your computer
Step 2: Log in to Your WordPress Admin Dashboard
- Open your web browser and navigate to your WordPress website's admin login page. This is usually located at
http://yourwebsite.com/wp-admin
- Enter your username and password, then click on the "Log In" button
Step 3: Navigate to the Plugins Section
- Once logged in, you will be directed to the WordPress admin dashboard
- In the left-hand sidebar, hover over the "Plugins" option, and then click on "Add New."
"Note: If you don't see the plugin option in the navbar, it means you don't have admin rights. Make sure you have the necessary permissions to access and install plugins on your WordPress site."
Step 4 - Option 1: Install from the WordPress Plugin Market
- On the "Add Plugins" page, search ClientPoint in the search bar
- Click Install Now
- After installation, click on the "Activate" button to activate the plugin
Step 4 - Option 2: Upload and Install the Plugin
- Download the plugin file from (
clientpoint-customeros
) - On the "Add Plugins" page, click on the "Upload Plugin" button located at the top of the page.
- Click on the "Choose File" button and select the plugin file you downloaded
- Once the file is selected, click on the "Install Now" button
- WordPress will now upload the plugin file from your computer and install it automatically. After installation, click on the "Activate" button to activate the plugin
Step 5: Set Up the Plugin
- After activating the plugin, you will be redirected to the WordPress admin dashboard
- Manually navigate to the WordPress admin navbar
- Look for the newly added "ClientPoint" menu item in the navbar
- Click on the ClientPoint menu item to access the plugin's setup page
Step 6: Configure Plugin Settings
- On the ClientPoint setup page, you will find options to configure the plugin settings.
- Follow the instructions provided by the plugin to set up the necessary options. This might involve providing details specific to the ClientPoint plugin
- Once you've configured the plugin settings, save your changes
Step 7: Verify Plugin Functionality
- After configuring the plugin settings, visit your WordPress website's front end in a new browser tab or window
- Look for the ClientPoint icon or any changes based on the settings you configured
- If the plugin is working correctly, you should see the ClientPoint icon appearing on your website
- Click on the ClientPoint icon to ensure it functions as expected and displays the information set up in the ClientPoint settings page within your WordPress admin dashboard
