Using Advanced and Static HTML Pages in ClientPoint Content Library

ClientPoint allows you to enhance your client interactions by integrating HTML files, enabling you to present dynamic and visually engaging content. Whether you use static or advanced HTML, you have endless customization possibilities to tailor each ClientPoint to your audience.

Note: A foundational knowledge of CSS and HTML is required to create and use HTML files within ClientPoint.

Types of HTML Pages in ClientPoint

1. Static HTML Pages

Static HTML pages provide an easy way to add dynamic visual content to ClientPoints. While considered "static," these pages can contain animations, images, and other media—allowing for flexible and interactive content without user input.

Important: All media assets (like CSS files, images, etc.) should be hosted online to be visible within ClientPoint. You can also upload these assets to the Asset Library within ClientPoint for convenient access.

Steps to Upload a Static HTML File:

  • Go to Settings.
  • Click on the Content Library icon.

  • Under the Library tab, select your desired folder where you wish to upload the HTML file and click Add to Library, and select Static HTML

  • 5. Choose the HTML file you wish to upload, rename as desired, and click Submit.

Advanced HTML Pages

Advanced HTML pages are similar to advanced merge documents, where dynamic content can be generated through merge fields. Each time the HTML file is added to a ClientPoint, users will complete a form that populates specific fields in the HTML file based on the provided entries. This feature is useful for creating tailored content that changes according to individual ClientPoint needs.

Managing HTML Content with Snippets, Fragments, and Assets

ClientPoint offers tools to manage and update HTML content without modifying the original code:

  • Snippets: These are reusable pieces of content that you can insert into HTML files, helping you update the content across multiple ClientPoints seamlessly. Snippets are especially helpful for embedding Assets into HTML pages.
