ActiveCampaign is a CRM and marketing automation platform. Integrating ActiveCampaign with your ClientPoint, you can easily reuse prospect details from your ActiveCampaign account into your ClientPoint account by simply importing the data from ActiveCampaign, which will automatically populate the relevant fields in ClientPoint. This way, you can focus on other important tasks like building relationships and closing deals.
Step 1: Obtain the API Key and URL for ActiveCampaign:
- Log in to your ActiveCampaign account
- Click on the Settings button (gear icon) on the left side menu
- In the Settings menu, select Developer option
- In the Developer section, you will find your API URL & API Key
- Copy the API URL & API Key
Step 2: Use the obtained API Key & URL to connect with your ClientPoint
- Log in to your ClientPoint account
- Navigate to the Settings page
- Select the Integration option
- Under the CRM Integration, find the ActiveCampaign integration
- Click Connect
- Enter the API Key & URL obtained from ActiveCampaign
- Click on the Submit button to establish the connection between your ClientPoint and ActiveCampaign accounts
Step 3: Import a deal from ActiveCampaign CRM to your ClientPoint account
- Click on the New button to create a new ClientPoint
- Locate the CRM Import button near to Client Name and click on it
- From the list of available CRM platforms, select ActiveCampaign
- A list of all deals present in your ActiveCampaign account will appear, search and select the desired deal you wish to import
- Once the desired deal has been selected, click on the Submit button to import the deal into your ClientPoint
Step 4: Import contacts associated with the deal on your ClientPoint
- Locate the CRM Import button near the Recipients section and click on it.
- A list of all contacts associated with the selected deal will appear. Search and select the desired contact(s) you wish to import
- Once the desired contact(s) have been selected, click on the "Submit" button to import them into your ClientPoint account
Notes:
- When importing deals from ActiveCampaign CRM to your ClientPoint account, users will be able to see a list of all deals present in their ActiveCampaign account regardless of whether they have an associated account or not.
- If a deal does not have an associated account, the deal name will be mapped to the "Client Name" field in ClientPoint.
- If a deal has an associated account, the account name will be mapped to the "Client Name" field in ClientPoint. Additionally, all contacts associated with the account will be displayed in the "CRM Import Contacts" section for easy selection. The revenue will also pull into the Info tab in ClientPoint.
- If a deal doesn't have any account associated with it, all contacts associated with the deal will be displayed in the "CRM Import Contacts" section for easy selection.
- Importing a contact from ActiveCampaign CRM to your ClientPoint account, only the general fields such as name, email, and phone number will be imported.
- Additional information or custom fields that are unique to your ActiveCampaign account may not be imported and might require custom development work to be incorporated into your ClientPoint account.
