Now, ClientPoint Sign can be configured on files from Content Library. With this feature, the Administrator (Or any user who has access to the content library ) will be able to set up ClientPoint Sign configurations on the documents, and during the CP creation user just add this configured file into the CP.
Configuring ClientPoint Sign in the documents from Content Library
Step 1:
Screen Notes:
- Select the file, On which you want to add E-sign configurations.
- Now click On "Enable eSign"
Step 2:Enter the Number of signers for this file.
Now, Click on "Continue" for signer's configuration
Screen Notes:
- There are Five items that can be set up against one signer
- Signer Name
- Signature Field
- TextBox
- Initials
- Date
- Check Box
1. Signer Name
- On the above screen you can see there are 3 signers because, in the previous step, we set up 3 signers for this document.
- By Default signer name is signers 1,2 and 3, to change the signer name by clicking "" icon.
- On click "" this signer will be deleted
- On click "" a new signer will be added.
2. Signature Field - Drag the Signature Field and drop it anywhere on the document, The signer will sign in this field.
- Here you have two option "" and "".
- On clicking the "Delete" icon, this field will be deleted from the document only.
- On clicking the setting icon, the system will open the settings on the right top side of the page.
- Name: By default place holder
Required: Make this field mandatory.
Delete: Delete this field from the document
2. Text Box

Drag and drop the text field.
- On clicking the setting icon

- By enabling the "Read-only" checkbox this field will only be read-only and no activity by the signer can be performed on it.

- By enabling the "Required" checkbox this field will be mandatory for the signer.
3. Initials
- Drag and drop the initial field.
- Initial work is exactly like the text box as defined above.
4. Date
- Drag and drop the Date field.
- This feature will be implemented later.
- By clicking on the setting icon, the following option will be available for the Date field

- Drag and drop the checkbox field
Now
After setting up the signer fields and click on "" button following popup will show up
- On clicking the "Edit" button system will close this popup and you will be returned back to the signer's setup page on which you are already working.
- On clicking "Continue" the document will be saved and you will be navigated to the files section.
Saving ClientPoint Sign configuration as a draft.
- Click on the "" button which is on the top right side of the page
The system will show the following popup
- On clicking "Save Draft", the file will be saved as a draft and will be available for editing.
On clicking the "Edit" button system will close this popup and you will be returned back to the signer's setup page on which you are already working
Disable ClientPoint Sign Configuration from the document.
- Configuration can be disabled on the configured document which can be later enabled again.
Step 1:
- Select the file on which ClientPoint Sign was enabled.
Step 2:
- Click On the Disable eSign
- On clicking Disable e-sign, the sign configuration will be disabled from that file.
- These changes will not be applied on the files that are already added in the CP.
- You have to delete the existing file from the file build section of CP and have to import this file again to get the latest changes.
Re-enabling the previously disabled ClientPoint Sign configuration on the file
- Select the file on which the sign configuration was disabled.
- By enabling, the previous configuration will be carried forward on the latest published document.
- Here you can further modify the signer configuration on the document.
Edit the sign Configured file.
Edit e-Sign configuration on the file
Step1:
- Select the file to edit from the content library.
Step 2:
- Click on the Edit icon from the Content Library
- On click, the system will land you on the following screen
Note:
- eSign configuration will only be applicable on the published file, not on the drafted version of the file.
- On clicking highlighted "eSign Configuration" button system will take you to the page where you can edit the signer's configuration (As shown below)
- On clicking "Continue" the system will save the signers configuration.
Updating a file on which ClientPoint Sign was configured.
Step 1:
- Upload the edited version of the file.
Step 2:
- On clicking submit button, the system will ask whether you want to publish this edited file or not.
Note:
- If the uploaded file is saved as a draft then the eSign configuration will not be applied.
- If the uploaded file is published then eSign configuration that you have done on the previous version of the file will be shifted to this published version of the file and the system will show the following screen.
Adding the configured file into the CP.
Step 1:
- Goto file section of ClientPoint
Step 2:
- Select the file on which you had configured the eSign.
- Once a file is added to the CP, you can see the eSign configured icon against that file (As shown below)
